Let’s get some reviews of the last episode of Gossip Girl, “School Lies.” Here’s what The Futon Critic has to say:

The network’s description: “In “School Lies,” Serena (Blake Lively), Blair (Leighton Meester), Nate (Chace Crawford), Chuck (Ed Westwick) and their entourage break into the school swimming pool for a night of fun, but when a member of their group nearly drowns, the school threatens to expel the person responsible for the break-in. Meanwhile, Chuck tries to enlist the help of Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) in his effort to blackmail Blair. It is also worth noting that the episode features two songs from Ed Westwick’s band, The Filthy Youth. In “A Think Line Between Chuck and Nate,” Gossip Girl takes pleasure in reporting that Serena van der Woodsen was spotted buying pregnancy tests. Okay, now it’s your turn - What did you think of Gossip Girl this week? I thought it was deliciously scandalous. There were a few things I didn’t like though:

1. How did Chuck’s dad get to the new headmistress before Serena did? I’m pretty sure Serena didn’t tell Lily she was getting expelled, and even if he heard it from Chuck, why was the headmistress still questioning Dan? Can we say “major plot hole?”
2. Is it legal for Vanessa to take ten grand from someone in exchange for a blank video tape, then donate it to charity? Err… isn’t Chuck going to want his money back when he finds out?
