I must hand it to the fans - 3.65 million people tuned in for the season premiere of Gossip Girl. Congratulations to Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley, and the rest of the cast - you are well on your way to becoming household names. And congratulations to Kristen Bell, who’s already fabulous and a household name, so she gets her own line.

Top Model returned to an audience of 5.15 mil, down just a hair from the previous cycle’s opener. Gossip Girl had 3.65 mil talking, matching One Tree Hill’s 2006 season premiere and faring a bit better than that Pussycat Doll search.

I’ve also been doing a little investigating about our V mystery. Turns out Jessica Szohr was spotted at the Gossip Girl premiere party on September 18th. Gossip Girl happens to be filming the sixth episode at the moment, which implies that V will be introduced about a quarter way through the season. Furthermore, you’ll notice from the pictures that Szohr still has a full head of hair - we’ll have to see how that pans out for the character on the series. Will Szohr be everything we expect in V?
