Hey Hey!

I usually don’t post much on the weekends because my social schedule keeps me pretty busy, but I’m always on the job. This weekend I found out all the latest dirt about what’s coming up on Gossip Girl over the next two months or so. So let’s start dishing:

The third episode of Gossip Girl is called “Poison Ivy,” and for a very good reason. We’ve got some recruiters from the top universities in the country coming to visit our favorite upper east siders. Yale is B’s first choice - and now S wants to shatter that dream by competing with B for one of the interview slots. D is hoping for an usher position with Dartmouth, but N seems to have all the connections when it comes to his Dartmouth alum father. Rufus loves his children, we know - is D the reason he asks Lilly for a favor?

Now on to little J. How is she going to pay B back for that very expensive dress? Is romance in the air for J and S’s little brother, Eric? Speaking of E, Top Gossip Girl is wondering is E is really the reason S came home. And is N really the reason S left to begin with? B learns another secret about S - and Top Gossip Girl is wondering if the big fat secret has five letters in it. Rehab anyone? I think that’s what the The Ostroff Treatment Center is. I think this is the episode where we will finally see UES schools and even some of their staff.

Episode four is called “Bad News Blair” and it’s sure to be a runway hit. It seems like N and C might be getting out of town for a guys weekend, led by none other than Carter Baizen, a has-been of the UES world. Meanwhile, B and S battle it out for the spotlight modeling Eleanor Waldorf’s new fashion line. The big question will be answered: will D and S give their short-lived romance another shot? We will also learn more about Rufus’ background with his estranged wife. Rufus should be careful though - we think little J might be getting into some trouble in this episode.

Then there is episode five called “Dare Devil.” D and S are apparently going to go on their first “real” date. That’s great, because five whole episodes of them courting each other is a little much, don’t you think? Either way, we hope D can get his act together and doesn’t pull another famous Humphrey wave. B has an exclusive sleepover and J gets one of the coveted invites. Does this mean J has chosen a side at last? We know she won’t be able to sit on the fence forever. Maybe J will decide after a crazy game of Truth or Dare stretches her limits - to conning rich men and police officers. Finally, Rufus and Lily will meet again - this time Lily is cashing in on the favor Rufus owes her after episode three. E has gone missing, and we have no idea where he would run to.

There’s no news yet on the rest of the Gossip Girl titles, but we do have some details of who will make an appearance and when. Our good friend V, D’s best friend from elementary school, should be back around episode six - and she will definitely be getting between D and S’s barely-taken-off romance. B’s very flamboyant father will be back from Paris (with his hot boyfriend?) around episode eight and could stay for three episodes. He adores B, but the situations he can get in to should be delightfully awkward. Finally, we also know that while B has everyone on her side now, the tides could be changing very soon. S’s rebel forces could pick up speed.

In case you haven’t been keeping track, here are the questions we still have:

1. Will Lily stay with Bart Bass, or will she find comfort in Rufus’ hunky arms?
2. Are B and S ever going to reconcile?
3. Where do B and N stand?
4. Will J be forced to choose sides?
5. What kind of trouble will C stir?
6. Who will D choose: S or V?
