Like the boy scouts say: be prepared… to still look fashionable, no matter what the weather throws at you. (So I added a little bit to the end, sue me.) This comfy top comes in three basic colors: white, gray, and black. It’s perfect for anyone’s style.
Or if you wanted a twist on the traditional, you could always try this bold black and white striped cable-knit v-neck sweater from Full Tilt. Make a statement about who you are - it comes in tons of different color combinations, so get creative. At less that $20 a pop, you could really purchase them all.
These Shio skinny jeans are to die for. While Top Gossip Girl does love expensive things, she also loves incredible bargains. It’s not all about the money, you know, which is why this dark denim piece at less than $20 is such a steal for one of the hottest fashions this fall. And as all you budding fashionistas know, skinny jeans go great with just about any type of shoe - heels, flats, boots, sandals, you name it. Show off your curves as an added benefit to looking stylish.
The last deal of the day is these extra tall Rockport Merrick boots. Sure, you could possibly climb a mountain in them - but that just makes them more practical for bad weather than your jimmy choo heels. Besides, they match our brown leather jacket perfectly and look oh-so-couture over a dark pair of jeans. I can’t believe I found them at under $50. I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming!

I do know. The leather jacket was actually a vintage special that Gossip Girl costume designer Eric Daman found for the show. Unfortunately, it seems like there is no way to purchase the actual jacket at a store. So unfortunate, because it is one of the hottest articles of clothing on the pilot episode. Let me know if you hear anything different - every once in awhile my sources are wrong.

My mom’s friend is the designer who supplied the jacket, his label is called Organic by John Patrick. I got the jacket for christmas. You can get it at Barney’s or Calypso.
