There have been lots of whispers about all the hotties on the new CW hit, Gossip Girl. One that we’ll be “Chacing” all season is Chace Crawford, aka Nate Archibald in the series. Top Gossip Girl has just heard some juicy details about Chace’s experience so far on Gossip Girl.

Can you believe it? Chace had to try out six times to get the part of Nate on Gossip Girl! One look and I would have hired him in a snap. Good news ladies… apparently Chace is single.

Don’t get too excited though because this cute Texan declares he’s “lovin’ the single life.” That doesn’t mean he’s sworn off flings, does it? Oh well, word is he already has a roommate anyway. One guess at who it is - he’s a cast mate who plays the bad guy on Gossip Girl.

But if you’re really desperate to sway Chace out of bachelorhood, maybe send him a mix of 80’s music or chat him up about the latest Hills episode. I for one am sending him a blue Versace sweater to match those gorgeous eyes.
